WOW!
You're not kidding about this show.
What You Find into Jam is phenom. The rest of the show is stellar as well. They guys are onto something...sounds like a party too.

"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
This was OEJ's first performance at the new site of Mexicali Blues Cafe and the band showed it was excited in the playing and music. Besides that factor, at the time, OEJ just came out of recording a majority of their album, Keep Your Head.
The opening jam that's usually standard took on a melodic theme instead of the usual groove/drive/funk/ that they were doing as of late. Then to open with one of the band favorites, Middle Of The Road.
Another great highlight is the What You Find -> Jam. Totally unscripted inspiration. The band just drifted into a jam where the song normally ends and just kept going. Very cool stuff.
Plus, this show closes with a Light Up Or Leave Me Alone that's litered with teases, reminiscent of the end of their 2005 West Virginia show on here, just without Kurt on slide. So...Enjoy!!!
